How does the repository search work? How can I get involved? The BASE and BGE invite young people to discuss this and much more. Three events will take place in May.

Invitation to take part in discussions regarding the retrieval of nuclear waste from the Asse mine

The first licensing procedure for the retrieval of radioactive waste from the Asse II mine has begun. The BGE is providing information and discussing the plans as part of an early public participation process.

BGE buys first plots for Asse retrieval shaft

The Lower Saxony State Forest is assisting the Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung (BGE) by selling a plot of land for the retrieval of radioactive waste from the Asse II mine.

On 22 April 2021, the BGE will offer all interested students the opportunity to learn about apprenticeships online. Registration is possible until 20 April.
